7IP, 0H, 0BB, 13K, 80 Pitches, I’m Good, I Will Take a Seat!

I will be the first to admit that as a Giants fan I hate the Dodgers and everything about them, but after today and what I saw, I especially think Dave Roberts and Clayton Kershaw are Weak Sauce and I hope they finish DFL behind the Rockies. Before I continue I want to state I have not heard from Kershaw at this point, but I am going to assume he is like most competitive baseball veterans and guess that there is no possible way he wanted to come out of that game short of an injury, even with a short Spring-Training. We are talking about HOF type moments for a guy that has had some bad post-season games and some observers question his credentials. A Perfect Game would close all those doors of discussion and may have secured the HOF TODAY! Instead Roberts pulls him with 80 pitches, I don’t care if the doctor told me that I had a chance to reinjure my arm if I go too far with the pitch count, this was worth the risk.

Fuck this soft way of thinking – This is what is currently wrong with baseball “KISS” and stop overthinking things.

Last: If Kershaw comes out and says he agrees with the decision then he is one hell of a good PR guy, but I will say now I don’t believe you.
