Prizm Soccer 2021-22

On the days following the end of the Premier League season Panini America decides to release the retail version of Prizm Soccer EPL. The hobby version of this product came out roughly 2-months ago and at the time was a really nice product that was significantly cheaper in price compare to its NBA and NFL competition. I ripped a Hobby Box back then and really enjoyed the product so when the retail versions came out I decided to buy a few of each version (Mega, Blaster, Fat pack) from the website and another Hobby from my LCS to do a video.

My review has two parts to it

1: I enjoyed the rip, the product was clean and the QC seems to have improved over last year’s Prizm basketball. The RWB parallels in the Fat Packs have the wave feature in them and is nice on the eye and the Red-Ice from the Mega boxes were awesome looking. The Hobby is as expected, tought to pull low numbered parallels and match them to a top player, but it delivers the opportunity, I guess.

2: I hate the timeline on this product. Is this an end of the year product or a middle of the season product. The Hobby version of this product lost significant value with the intro of retail and there was really no heads up it was coming. On a positive note it did drop the Hobby Boxes to $249.99 making it more wallet-friendly unlike its NFL brother and probably $1700 a box.

Overall I recommend the product if you like EPL as I do.
