2022 Select Baseball

I did this video a few days ago and have had time to think about it. I like the fact that Panini does baseball, but Select it not even close to their best performance. Absolute, Optic, and even paper Donruss are superior products to Select baseball.

Here is why:

Absolute has the ability to hit Kabooms

Paper Donruss has brought the Marvels and Bomb Squad Parallels to the party and they are sweet.

Finally Optic is just a clean looking card and last year it produced the Unleashed Insert that had numbered parallels.

Select has parallels like the Color Wheel, but has anyone ever really cared about this insert Ultra Rare or not. I do like the En Fuego insert design, but I can buy those separately for much less than the cost of a hobby box and I can pick the players I want. Last the borders on the Concourse and Premier level designs are flat out ugly. There is just too much border.

I bought my standard 1-hobby box for the channel review and the article, but that is it.
